Terms of Service — Shame Resilience Live Workshop

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase and participation in the Shame Resilience live video workshop ("Workshop") hosted by Jane Pak / Iki Advisors LLC ("we," "us," "our"). By purchasing a ticket, you agree to these Terms.

1. What You're Purchasing

1.1 Standard Ticket ($1200) Access to a live, 3-day video workshop delivered over Zoom:

Dates: October 12–14

Time: 9-10:30 PST each day

Format: live instruction and group participation with Jane Pak

A Zoom link will be sent to the email address provided at checkout prior to the first session

1.2 VIP Add-On ($300, optional) In addition to Standard Ticket access

Time: 10:30-11:30 PST each day

VIP purchasers receive:

The ability to observe a live one-on-one "hot seat" coaching session conducted with another attendee during the Workshop

Participation in a small-cohort Q&A session with Jane Pak

VIP is an add-on to the Standard Ticket, not a standalone product — it cannot be purchased without the Workshop itself.

1.3 No Guarantee of Outcome The Workshop is educational and developmental in nature. We make no guarantee, express or implied, about specific personal, professional, or emotional outcomes from attending.

2. Payment

Full payment is due at the time of registration.

Prices are listed in USD and are inclusive of all Workshop content described above.

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors discovered after purchase; if this occurs, you will be notified and may cancel for a full refund.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

More than 7 days before the first session: full refund available upon request.

Within 7 days of the first session: refunds are not guaranteed but may be considered on a case-by-case basis; contact us as soon as possible.

After the Workshop begins (once Day 1 has started): no refunds will be issued, regardless of attendance at subsequent sessions.

VIP add-on: refundable only under the same conditions as the Standard Ticket, and only if refunded together with the Standard Ticket.

No-shows are not entitled to a refund or credit. We are not responsible for missed sessions due to technical issues on your end (internet connectivity, device problems, incorrect calendar time zone, etc.).

We reserve the right to reschedule or modify session dates/times in the event of unforeseen circumstances. If we cancel the Workshop entirely, you will receive a full refund.

4. Access & Technical Requirements

You are responsible for ensuring you have a stable internet connection, a Zoom-compatible device, and the current version of the Zoom application.

Access is granted to the individual who registered. Sharing your unique Zoom link or login credentials with others is prohibited.

We are not liable for access issues caused by third-party platforms (Zoom, your email provider, your internet service provider).

5. Recording & Intellectual Property

The Workshop, including all instructional content, materials, slides, and any replays or recordings we provide, is our exclusive intellectual property and is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only.

You may not record, screen-capture, redistribute, resell, publicly share, or create derivative works from any Workshop content without our prior written consent.

Hot seat participants (VIP): if you are selected or volunteer to participate in a live hot seat coaching demonstration, you acknowledge that this session may be observed live by other VIP attendees and may be recorded for internal or promotional use; separate consent will be obtained from the hot seat participant at that time.

We reserve the right to record any session for quality, training, or promotional purposes. By attending, you consent to being visible/audible in the background of such recordings (e.g., in Q&A or group discussion), unless you keep your camera and microphone off.

6. Confidentiality & Group Conduct

The Workshop may involve other attendees sharing personal experiences, including during hot seat coaching or open Q&A.

You agree to keep confidential anything shared by other participants during live sessions, and not to record, screenshot, or repeat it outside the Workshop without that person's consent.

We reserve the right to remove any participant from a session for disruptive, abusive, or harassing behavior, without refund.

7. Not Medical, Psychological, or Legal Advice

The Workshop addresses topics related to shame, self-worth, and emotional resilience for general educational and skill-building purposes. It is not therapy, counseling, medical treatment, or a substitute for professional mental health care. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a licensed professional or emergency services in your area. Nothing in the Workshop should be construed as diagnosing, treating, or curing any condition.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your participation in the Workshop. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Workshop is limited to the amount you paid for your ticket.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to registered attendees via email prior to the Workshop start date. Continued participation after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, consistent with Iki Advisors LLC's state of organization.
